May I stop by your bakery? Yes,the store is located at 4700 N. Central Ave. Phoenix, AZ 85012 open Tuesday thru Friday 10am – 5pm and Saturday 10am – 3pm
How far in advance should I place my order? Orders should be placed a minimum of 7 (seven) days. Designs with a lot of detail, hand-made elements or complicated structure many require more time, so please inquire as soon as you start planning the event, this is help us create the most amazing cake with perfect detail.
May I order a cake at the last minute? We definitely attempt to accommodate last minute requests if our schedule allows. We also care ready to go cakes in the store, styles/designs vary. Please call or email to inquire about availability for your particular date.
What is your payment policy? Custom cakes orders should be placed a minimum of 7 (seven) days before the event, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to hold the event date, the balance is due upon receipt of cake (cookies, cupcakes, rumballz, etc). Receipt of deposit is confirmation of order, a copy of the order, contract or email will be confirmation of all details. If cancelling, please notify KAK a minimum of 24 hours before scheduled receipt of goods, if paid in full the 50% (balance) will be refunded, the 50% non-refundable deposit will NOT. Goods with hand-made flowers or custom figures are subject to NO refund.
What form of payment so you accept? Payment can be made by cash or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover).
How big is a serving size? A “serving” is based on the cake industry’s standard, KAK does allow for other factors while cutting a cake, so the number of servings we calculate is a conservative number, many clients say they get more servings than we quoted. A standard sized serving, wedding: 1 x 2 x 4 and party: 1.5 x 2 x 4

Do you have a minimum cupcake order? Yes for custom orders: one dozen (12) per flavor or you may pick from the selection in the store
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions? KAK does offer vegan products and low sugar products, though we are not a gluten free bakery we do offer a few items made without gluten.
Do you offer free tasting? KAK offers a one hour complimentary tasting and consultation for orders with a minimum of 75 servings. 5 of our most popular cake flavors, a variety of fillings and frostings including fondant will be available. Additional flavors can be added at $10 per. Tasting is available for smaller orders for a fee of $50. A credit card is required to hold the appointment. If needing to cancel appointment please notify KAK at least 24 hours before your scheduled time or your credit card is subject to a $50 fee.
What should I bring to my tasting appointment? Bring yourself, up to 3 guests and any/all details you may have for your event. Good inspiration for ideas…photos, invitations, flowers, colors, ribbon, dress (wedding), books…
How far in advance should I schedule my tasting appointment? All the cakes for our consultation and tasting appointments are custom-baked and we require a minimum of three (3) calendar days notice for all cake tastings.
May I use fresh flowers on my cake? Yes, fresh flowers can be placed on your cake, please coordinate with your florist this will insure that all the flowersfor your event match. Also ask that your flower be organic and have no chemicals or pesticides. KAK will place on the cake but will not be responsible for the quality of flowers. KAK recommends the use of gum paste flowers for cake to avoid any issues.
Do you have cake stands or cupcake stands? Yes, we do have stand available for rental, large silver cake plateaus, cake pedestals and cupcake stands for a small fee ($10 – $30). A deposit of $50 is required for each piece rented and will be refunded upon return within 7 days of rental and in good condition.
Do you deliver? Yes, delivery and set-up can be arranged. The delivery will be made by a KAK designer in sure set-up is complete. Delivery charge is based on the distance starting at $40.
May I pick up my order Yes, you may pick up your order. Please see store hours. Please allow for plenty of flat floor space in your vehicle. The back of an SUV or floor of passenger side is best, we do not recommend placing the cake on the seat nor someone holding the cake. We can provide the approx dimensions of cake and box prior to pick up.*note: KAK is not responsible for damage to an order once it has left our shop. Repairs will be subject to additional fees on a case-by-case basis.
Will the cake be in a box? KAK will provide a box, but due to the height, size or shape of most of our cake designs, it may not be covered.
What about the Arizona sun or heat? Cakes are fragile and not heat proof. KAK cannot guarantee our desserts will withstand the heat when displayed at an outdoor event or location with inadequate air conditioning or left in a car. Fillings and frostings are made of chocolate and/or butter and they do require cool temperatures, food handling and safty must be considered. KAK will work with you to design your cake and will suggest ingredients that will compliment your event’s environment.
Do you ship? Arrangements can be made to ship cakes and cookies, these items require overnight shipping with special handling and KAK will require someone to receive the delivery, the package can not be left outside.
